Bard College holds hosts a series of speakers for their James Chace Memorial Speaker series.  Doug Shipman, Executive Director of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights was invited along with Sophie Delaunay, US Director of Doctors Without Borders and Rebecca Hamilton, an Open Society Fellow working in Darfur to speak about Humanitarian actions and Human Rights.

The panel has been posted in parts on You Tube.  Doug Shipman gives open remarks in parts 3 and 4 and answers questions in section 9-11.

Part 3 is here, Part 4 is here

As stated there- not all humanitarian actions are human rights related, but when they converge, the complications increase for both those serving and those served.
